The adaptability of the Batman series is one of its many qualities.
It would be difficult to find another superhero who has undergone as many transformations as Batman has. Given his sad past and the bleak atmosphere of Christopher Nolan’s Gotham City, the character is a natural fit for the tortured anti-hero of the Dark Knight films.
However, it’s hard to deny that Batman has a certain corniness to him. The “billionaire by day, superhero by night” myth is hilarious when you give it some thought.
The Joker, Mr. Freeze, and the Riddler, to name a few, are all incredibly absurd characters.

In the 1960s, the Batman television series introduced this franchise’s humorous side to the world.
The release of Batman & Robin in 1997, which is widely regarded as one of the worst movies of all time by people with no sense of humor, may be considered the zenith of this trend.
The Lego Batman Movie, released in 2017, is far more faithful to this latter canon of Batman films. The franchise had lost its sense of humor, but this reboot restores it in entertaining fashion.

Lego Batman shows Bruce Wayne as he probably is in real life, rather than how he is portrayed in Nolan’s films, which were reluctant to spell up Wayne’s flaws: a self-absorbed jerk who can buy anything except the actual personal connection he so desperately desires.
Even though it’s funny to see him eat and watch movies by himself in his mansion, you can’t help but feel sorry for him.
His parents, whom he deeply cared about, had their lives cut terribly short. And he fears falling in love once more.
In the universe of Nolan’s films, Wayne’s self-imposed isolation is actually a contributing factor to his “Dark Knight” persona.
Lego Batman’s take on the character’s isolation is more realistic, in that he is just unhappy.
This opens up opportunities for deeper character growth as well. Wayne/Batman eventually overcomes his initial antagonism and comes to regard Robin and Batgirl as friends by the film’s conclusion.
If well-developed characters are the mark of a great tale, then Lego Batman has the best story of any Batman movie.
In a nutshell, yes, it is a comedy. The change in Wayne is so profound, the audience can’t help but be touched.
It Has The Best Dynamic Between Batman And The Joker
Lego Batman Features the Greatest Batman/Joker Interaction.
It cannot be denied that Heath Ledger’s Joker in 2008’s The Dark Knight was a flawless creation.
But it was pointed out that he and Batman seldom shared screen time in the picture. The Joker’s portrayal took on a life of its own in the movie, and one could argue that he was even more entertaining than Batman. However, in Lego Batman, Batman and Joker’s relationship is similar to that of a dysfunctional marriage.

They dislike one another but can’t live without the other. Lego Batman emphasizes the parallels between the two characters more than any other Batman film.
It’s also worth noting that Lego Batman’s Joker is the most faithful adaptation of the comic book character to ever appear on film.
The real Joker doesn’t care about criminal activity; he only dislikes Batman’s superiority complex and wants to bring him down to size. The villain in Lego Batman accomplishes this goal.
The Film Is Self-Aware
The notion that Batman is a billionaire who walks around in a bat costume is humorous, as we’ve said before, no matter how grim the Batman movies get.
Lego Batman doesn’t just accept this; he celebrates it. The film is full of jokes that poke fun at how Batman takes himself too seriously.
Will Arnett does a fantastic performance, amplifying the satire with his imitation of Christian Bale’s gruff voice.
Lego Batman may be satirical, but it nonetheless respects its inspiration and gives us the fan service we didn’t realize we needed.
It’s reasonable to suggest that lesser-known villains like Calendar Man, Zebra-Man, and the all-too-often-forgotten Condiment King will make their first and possibly only big-screen appearances in this picture.
